The YCN have announced the winners of this years student awards and my submission for HMV is the only one commended in it’s category!

Here’s a bit of background on the awards.

Now in their 8th year, the YCN Student Awards exist to unearth and showcase emerging creative excellence. Based around a collection of live creative briefs; the awards are supported by many Universities, Colleges and Art & Design Schools across the UK.

Submitted my solution to the HMV brief for the YCN Student awards 2010 today, here’s a little teaser of the 1st of 7 boards before the deadline on the 26th.

Unfortunately my Crisis direct mail solution was not selected at either In-Book or Nomination level. However it’s not all bad news, congratulations go to Vicky Barlow who has received a prestigious nomination for her excellent Homebase packaging solution check it out here.
